ABOUT ME

Alexis Camina is a singer, actor, dancer, jazz musician, and Catholic cantor. As a musical theatre performer, she has been seen on the Theatre UCF stages and community theaters across Florida. Some of her favorite performances include Anya in Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard at Theatre UCF and Ensemble in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at The Naples Players. She has also music directed Ride the Cyclone Teen at The Naples Players.

 

As a jazz musician, she has played and sung at various Naples (FL) restaurants and venues, with a repertoire book of over 60 songs to perform at any moment. She has even traveled as far as California to perform in the Beverly Hills Wilshire for a company gala. As a cantor, she has been leading and playing the Catholic mass since she was in middle school, having been hired by churches across the Diocese of Venice for weddings, funerals, and other masses.

 

Alexis is in her senior year at the University of Central Florida (graduating Spring ‘26) acquiring a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre and an Event Management minor at the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality. She is currently assistant music directing Theatre UCF’s production of Urinetown: The Musical, performing October 16th-26th.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys reading dystopian and romance novels, playing video games, and baking. Having grown up on the Naples beaches, she loves boating, swimming, and paddle-boarding whenever she can.
